Introducing Dr Marc Picot who will be joining the practice in early 2019:
An ex-De La Salle boy, Dr Picot trained at the University of Birmingham and gained his MBChB in 2009. Following this, he moved back home to work in the General Hospital for 2 years to complete his foundation training before spending the next 2 years working in Emergency Medicine in Australia. He moved back to Jersey once again to start his GP training which he completed in the New Forest area in 2015.
He has since worked in a GP surgery as a salaried GP and was also employed by The Royal Bournemouth Hospital working in their urgent care centre.
His medical interests include joint injections, paediatrics and emergency care. His post graduate qualifications include DRCOG (Diploma of the Royal College of Gynaecologists) and MRCP (Membership of the Royal College of Physicians) Part 1.
Dr Picot enjoys most sports including golf, snowboarding and football and hopes to gain further experience in sports medicine in the future.
